Description

The 2004 Doisy-Daene has a straightforward gooseberry and white flower-scented nose. The palate has an appealing, caressing entry of tangerine, apricot and marmalade.

Château Doisy-Daëne stands as an esteemed wine estate nestled in the Barsac appellation of Bordeaux, France, renowned for crafting exquisite sweet wines. With a history tracing back to the 19th century, this estate, classified as a Second Growth (Deuxième Cru) in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, boasts a prime location and a terroir characterized by clay and limestone soils conducive to the development of noble rot. The vineyard spans approximately 18 hectares, predominantly planted with Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle.
