Description
From the good 1969 vintage, Very typical with notes of stemmy herbs, strawberry and peach tones and top notes of nettles, dried lemon zest and flowers. Light nuances of caramel and old leather reveal the age. In the mouth the attack was dominated by sweet liquorice tones which yielded to subtle, acid-driven fruit on the mid-palate. Hints of herb and tar. Superb!
Ready for drinking now but will keep to about 2011
