An outstanding Chianti from the very good 1970 Italian vintage. The Borgoni is amazingly fresh for a forty year old wine. This wine has a wonderful taste of citrus fruit, apples and cherries which are still present after about an hour. A very pleasant wine. Tasted in July 09 VWP.
