Description

The 1961 Troplong Mondot is a very dark plummy red colour.
The nose is overwhelming with dark fruit some mushroom and vanilla. After 30 minutes in the glass it seems to go down after showing more red cherry fruit and a higher acidity. After this it seems like having a second peak where there is a beautiful coming together of plummy and red fruit aromas, packed in a perfect acidity. Cellar tracker Review
