The 1989 Auxey-Duresses Les Vireux is a cherry scented Pinot Noir from Burgundy's Cote de Beaune area. It reveals a mouthfeel of red juicy cherries, forest floor nuances and mushrooms with a refreshing acidity, soft tannins with a medium body and a long earthy finish.

Serving Suggestions:
This already mature wine is ready for drinking now. It will benefit form decanting to remove the sediment and a little air to release its aromas. Enjoy in room temperature with an array of cured meats, mushroom risotto, feathered game dishes as well as hearty stews.
