Description

From the very good 1941 Italian vintage, this Fontanafredda has a beautiful earthy red colour. An impressive nose explodes out of the glass with cherries, spices, vanilla cream as well as floral notes, and earth. This is followed by a smooth velvet core and an endless finish, with many layers and a slight meaty quality.
