Description

Barolo is one of the great wines of Italy's northwestern Piedmont region. The 1963 Barolo is predominantly made from the nebbiolo grape which instills longevity into the wine. This wine a pale garnet core, some fruit remains on the nose alongside game, leather and forest floor notes. The Wine develops fully after half an hour to reveal a hint of fruit alongside oak and dusty tannins. This wine was tasted Mar 2013, the wine has stood up well despite the difficult vintage.
