Carignan is an exclusive black-skinned Italian wine grape variety use to make for Carignano del Sulcis rosy or red wines, grown in the very south-western corner of the island. Carignano del Sulcis is an exclusively Italian red wine variety that introduced in 1977. This variety is most likely native to northern Spain and used for most commonly blending with many of the region’s variety. Carignano del Sulcis wines grapes variety makes an excellent addition red wines with high tennis acid and color.

These variety of grapes blends with the plenty of aroma and flavor and produce a depth of color. Carignano grape which provides beautiful spicy note that makes a solid bottle of wines with rich flavors. Warm spices and bitter chocolate flavors are perfect when we enter to grilling season. Carignan grapes variety that remains tends to be relatively old are fully ripened on infertile soils in a warm summer, produce by far the best Carignano del Sulcis wine. it’s clear and bright, with a dark ruby color with medium intensity and notes of cherries, sweet spice, pomegranate, and strawberries developing on its clean nose.
