A lovely transparent colour, bright, pure. Smells tertiary and secondary, quite muted. Glorious in the mouth, it blossoms like all great wines, it's persistent and in the autumn of its life; stewed fruit, tea, wood but at the same time fresh. Beautifully balanced.
