From the good 1967 vintage, A simple, rustic but nice wine In the traditional Chanti style. Notes of cherry, strawberry and peach tones and top notes of nettles, dried lemon zest and flowers. light nuances of caramel and old leather reveal the age. In the mouth the attack is dominated by sweet liquorice tones which yielded to subtle, acid-driven fruit on the mid-palate. Hints of herb and tar. Superb!
