From the good 1973 Italian Vintage. This is a classic style Chianti, Volatile nose with some balsamico strawberries and quite a load of toffee to dill oak notes as well as some darker character of meat and blackpeppers.
Medium bodied and supple palate with balanced structure and good weight. Juicy peachy fruit, with notes of tobacco, meat, blackpepper and leather. Lengthy mocha finish.
