Scoring and outstanding 91 points (Robert Parker), the 2000 Churchill has complex aromas of lead pencil shavings, blueberries, creme de cassis, and licorice emerge from this dense ruby/purple-colored 2000. Full body, sweet tannin (which provides definition), and outstanding concentration result in a seriously-endowed, finely-crafted vintage port with well-integrated tannin, acidity, and alcohol.
