Description

A superb port from a good vintage. Heavy crust with a good pale red colour (most of the colour is in the crust). Wonderful fruity/alcohol nose and the taste is sublime. Still has a few years in it yet.

Dark ruby and glowing and regarded by the Symington’s as very typical of Cockburn’s. Very jewelly and transparent – bet with Johnny Graham (of Churchill’s) that Paul Symington would eat his hat if it matched Dow’s 66 – very delicate.
