The 2007 Gould Campbell Vintage Port reveals a saturated purple color and a brooding bouquet of violets, Asian spices, earth notes, and compote of black fruits. Elegant and savory in the mouth, this is a stylish Port that will evolve for a decade and offer prime drinking from 2017 to 2030+

Dark, almost black ruby, opaque core, violet reflections. On the nose very fine vinous aromas, subtle notes of candied violets, chocolate, ripe dark berry fruit underlay, mineral hints, Pomerol-like nuances, a very attractive bouquet. On the palate juicy, very elegant, ripe plum and orange fruit, fresh acidity which binds the structure well, fine chocolaty finish, very precise, on the finish the sweetness of the wine becomes more pronounced, mineral finish, very promising, excellent aging potential, a very successful example from this vintage.
