This is an excellent value late bottled vintage port from the good 2013 vintage.

Inky black in colour this port has a deep concentration of blackberry jam and currant liqueur in this classic dessert wine. This style of port is designed to be consumed early and will not improve with further cellaring.

Caves Messias is an historic family owned company that produced high quality port since 1926. Under their care and attention they have become renown for the quality of their colheitas and vintage ports at a competitive price. The grapes coming from their Quinta do Cachao Quinta do Rei Estates.
