Description

The Sant'Antimo Rosso Romito of the Romitorio di Castello Romitorio was born in vineyards located in Montalcino, in the province of Siena. It is produced at 60% with Sangiovese grapes, 20% with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and 20% with Canaiolo Nero grapes. The wine ages in barriques for 14 months, before being bottled. Romito del Romitorio is characterized by an intense ruby ??red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a rich and intense bouquet with hints of cherries and wild fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is soft and pleasantly warm, with delicate tannins. The wine has a final of considerable length. Perfect to accompany grilled red meat and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
