Description
The 1986 Fonseca Guimarens shows a decent red colour, no real signs of age. The nose is subdued after 8 hours in the decanter with spices, dried fruits, and fruit cake. On the palate it is soft, figgy, not particularly sweet , indeed a port on the drier side with a medium+ finish.
