The 1920 Bual is one of Blandy’s most iconic Madeira wines. The nose is complex and intense, revealing dry fruits, exotic spices, vanilla, followed by some smoky notes, cedar oil and balsamic. Gentle on the palate, with soft, sweet raspberries with a bit of birch sap on the late palate. Fabulous development and complexity. Lovely strawberry jam, then a strong lime acidity that finally finishes with sticky strawberry. 93/100." AHB The Port Forum 2013.

Excellent level- very top shoulder.
A tiny production from a very good year, the 1920 Taylor is mature and yet still retains some sweetness to match the almost Tawny Port notes of almonds and red cherries. Lovely right now and with plenty left to give.
