A masterpiece - even better than the outstanding 2015. Classic Pocas, drier and less sweet that the English shippers. Deep ruby colour. Aroma of great aromatic intensity where floral aromas predominate, ripe fruit and compote. Silky, elegant and balanced. Very expressive mouth with fruity and persistent finish.Tasted April 2019.

Saturated, opaque black, with a narrow, purple rim. Inky, dusty, schist minerality and focused liqueur blackberries. Reticent. On the palate, intense and dense, baked blueberry and blackberry, with ink and a touch of violets. Lots of weight and intensity, with a rich, full-bodied palate and compact, fine, fairly firm tannins. Backward. (TJ)
