This aristocratic red has its vineyards situated in the Langhe, on the right-hand side of the Tanaro river and extending from the area north-east of Alba to the communes of Barbaresco, Nieve and Treiso. Tasting notes: The 1977 Calem Vintage Port is an orange-tinged pale tawny colour. A powerful nose of light dried fruit, morello cherry, roasted coffee and caramel. We have found one recent note on this wine in cellar Tracker "Has bit of leathery, animal funk going on. There are also notes of cedar and cassis. It is relatively compact but not too skinny.
