This rare port-wine has been stored in seasoned oak casks since the 1962 harvest until it was bottled this year.

Tasting Notes: Dark oak colour with verdant edge. A very complex nose, with toasted nut, dried prunes, and an orange citrus zest with a hint pepper. On the palate there is a light volatile acidity and soft integrated tannins that contribute to make this an elegant wine. 94/100 VWPtasting 11/20 TC

This beautiful, rare white single harvest Port has been stored in seasoned oak casks since the 1962 harvest until it was bottled in 2021.

Tasting Notes: This 1962 port is a beautiful golden amber colour. On the nose there are fragrant stone fruit aromas of peach and apricot. The port has a great mouth-feel with a balance of fresh acidity that offsets the sweetness. The port has a lovely fresh long-lasting finish. This is a beautiful wine.

The 1962 Dupeyron Armagnac is the expression of a single year and has a unique character associated with the year and the cask in which it has been stored. These vintages are bottled at the alcohol level in which they naturally come out of the cask. There is a wonderful contrast between the sweet and sour flavours of wood, amplified by the strong alcoholic degree. Rich palate feeling the alcohol and the concentration of dry plums, spicy with persistent flavour of rancio and of spices, but round, soft and long in the finish. The tannins are very present, but full-bodied and round.

Barbaresco is one of the great wines of Italy's north-western Piedmont region. This aristocratic red has its vineyards situated in the Langhe, on the right-hand side of the Tanaro river and extending from the area north-east of Alba to the communes of Barbaresco, Nieve and Treiso. Margaux 2nd Growth Classification

Medium garnet in colour with yellowing and bricking towards the rim. This is very much alive. Wet leaves, forest floor, sweet tobacco, raspberry, red cherry, vanilla, and white flowers on the nose. There is a lot of sweetly perfumed classic Margaux aromatics. Secondary and tertiary notes dominate but there is still a lot of fruit left here leading to a nice long finish.
