Graham's Port, 1986

Malvedos Vintage Port
Half Bottle

In declared Vintage years the wines of Malvedos form the fundamental part of the blend which makes up Grahams Vintage Ports. In many other years when there is not enough top quality wine for Grahams to declare a Vintage, the wine of Malvedos is nevertheless so fine that it is bottled on its own, unblended, when two years old and left to mature in bottle like other Vintage Ports. Unlike declared Vintages, Malvedos Vintage Port is normally only shipped when ready for drinking by which time it is usually at least ten years old, although it continues to improve for many years more.

*** 90 Points - Wine Spectator ***
Reviews: "Rating: 90 Points (Wine Spectator)

"Excellent finesse in this wine that is still fresh with lime and citrus, but it also hints at lovely hazelnut, nutmeg and coffee bean notes. A very long orange-peel-scented finish. A touch lighter than the '82.”.

Taittinger, 1983

Vintage Champagne Da Silva Label

Amongst Champagne's luxury cuveés and super-premium labels, Taittinger's wines live on one extreme end of the style spectrum.
While many top Champagnes can be quite difficult to approach in their youth, with laser-like focus and delineation, even austerity, Taittinger instead tends to be immediately open and welcoming. These are beautiful, delicious Champagnes, with bubbles lazily winding their way up to the surface, inviting you to take another sip.

Cabral Port, 1981

40 Year Old Tawny Port
Bin soiled Labels

This 40 year old tawny port displays aromas of walnuts and almonds in harmony with spicy notes, warm roasted coffee and cinnamon spice.

This is a 40 year old tawny port that has been bottled in the 80's. Due to the age of this port there may be some loss of colour and some sediment present. Since it is sealed with cork, the cork may crumble which will not have a negative effect on its taste. In this case we would advise to remove the cork bits using a sieve.

Chateau Lynch-Bages, 1981

Pauillac 5me Cru Classe

***91 Points Aggregated critic score***

The 1981 Chateau Lynch-Bages is a classic expression of Pauillac. The nose reveals harmonious and complex aromas of red and black fruits, tobacco, licorice and spice. On the palate, the fruit is round and ripe with a long graceful and balanced finish. A great wine in its own right and a pleasure to drink now.

Serving Suggestions:
Please decant before serving to remove any sediment. Serve at room temperature with grilled or roasted lamb and a well-chosen Pauillac wine as good a pairing as it gets. Pauillac is also a perfect wine with not overly seasoned meat dishes, such as marbled steak, roasted duck and game.
