Elegant yet substantial, it exhibits a dense purple color as well as a sweet bouquet of black currants, cassis, cedarwood, herbs, toast and loamy soil undertones. "The Langoa 08 has a fine, understated, well-defined bouquet with blackberry, cedar, wild hedgerow and a touch of pencil lead, building nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with thick tannins married with great fruit intensity.
