"The color was a bright ruby, showing no age. The bouquet was muted but seemed fresh, with noted of fruit. On tasting, the wine is still fresh, with undertones of the dried grapes as expected. However, other flavors included mango and papaya. The tannins were balanced and the wine sang with the robiola cheese it accompanied. There was a moderate finish but everything was in harmony. It seemed to fail after about 30 minutes, not surprising given its age. In summary, a lovely wine which is drinking well now and seems to have several good years ahead of it." Cellar Tracker Review.
