Description
OR.FE.VI. stands for "Organizzazione Federconsorzi Vini," a lesser-known producer that was operational during the mid-20th century in Italy. While not as prominent as some other Piedmont wineries, wines from OR.FE.VI., especially from a notable vintage like 1964, is of high quality and offer an authentic taste of the era's winemaking style.
Barbera is a wine of prestige, rich colors that refer generally to the ruby purple, just what clothes cardinals; the bouquet is ample and composite, with fruity notes of blackberry, cherry, strawberry and red fruit jam and spicy aromas reminiscent of cinnamon, vanilla, green pepper.
