Presented in an amber crystal decanter which is an exact replica of a traditional decanter produced during the last century this extremely rare 1900 vintage armagnac is quite extraordinary, not only because of its age but also in its characteristics.

Created in 1882 in Bas Armagnac region, the Samalens armagnacs produce racy, round and elegant eau de vie. On the eve of the third millenium, the family has decided to offer the amateurs & connoisseurs of Armagnac a truly special treat:

Tasting note:
On the nose, the intensity of concentrated aromas prevails immediately; cooked fruit like prunes, then coffee and cocoa come to mind with intense vanilla and white blossom appearing in every swirl. On the palate this au de vie is smooth, despite its great length, and the prune and tobacco flavours mingle discreetly to end up with a "rancio" effect. An impression of all the aromas melting together into intense smoothness. The aftertaste is long-lasting and its aromas persist for hours!

Condition

Excellent- the bottle is immaculate with some minor scrathces on the gift box
