The 1986 Bouchard Père & Fils Côte de Beaune is a wonderful example of mature red Burgundy from one of the region's most historic and respected producers. After almost four decades of bottle ageing, this wine offers a rare opportunity to experience the complexity and elegance that develops in well-cellared Pinot Noir. Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy's oldest wine houses, with an exceptional reputation for producing wines that reflect the character of their terroir. Over nearly three centuries, the estate has built an impressive portfolio of vineyard holdings throughout the Côte d'Or, combining traditional winemaking with meticulous vineyard management to create wines of balance, finesse and longevity.

The nose is beautifully mature, revealing aromas of dried cherries, wild strawberries and red currants, layered with notes of forest floor, dried leaves and earthy spice. With time in the glass, hints of truffle, tobacco, leather and cedar emerge, adding further complexity and depth to the bouquet.
