Description

This is an elegantly mature vintage from celebrated Château Pape Clement, hailing from the Pessac-Léognan appellation and scoring 90 points on Cellar Tracker . Expect a dominantly tertiary and sous bois profile, exuding the complexity that comes from extensive bottle age. A rare find from the `82 vintage.

Tasting note:
Deep garnet. Intense cigar box nose, blackcurrant fruit, spice. Medium bodied, quite rich dark fruit, cigar box, soil, soft tannins, fresh acidity, fans out into a long finish. Excellent, drinking beautifully.
