Wonderful nose: morello cherry and ripe peach. Well-balanced and quite smooth and chewy on the herbaceous palate. Good acidity although rather dilute towards the end. Not the best Beaucastel but good for the vintage.

Medium garnet. An amazingly expressive bouquet that wafts out of the glass: damp soil, leather, farm & barn, drying cranberries, white flowers, and honeysuckle. On the palate it is complex with subtle earth tones and some strawberry. Truly magnificent. **CellarTracker Review**
