Description
This 1970 wine from the Chianti region is from a good cellar and has a good fill. The colour is still good with minimal lightening at the rim. On the nose expect a little cherry, then earth, tobacco, coffee. The fruit is still present on the palate, with nice acidity. A mature wine but still fresh for its age. Great with the wild mushroom pizza.
