Côte Rôtie is a prestigious red-wine appellation at the northern tip of France's Rhône Valley wine region. The 1999 Cote-Rotie by Domaine Mouton is a blend of the classic Northern Rhone varieties Syrah and Viognier and shows a medium garnet colour. The nose combines concentrated red fruit and delicate wood nuances. This is very much a gourmet wine, with notes of dark and red fruit and distinctive spice. A fine and complex wine.
