This is a vintage port produced solely from the exceptional vineyards of the Quinta do Vale Meao in the Douro Superior.

This historic Estate, founded in 1877 by the legendary Port producer Dona Anto?nia Adelaide Ferreira and now owned by her great great grandson Francisco Javier de Olazabal, is situated in the wild upper reaches of the Douro and has consistently produced top quality grapes. The Quinta has consistently released outstanding quality Vintage Ports that have rated highly in tastings and awards.

TASTING NOTE
The typical method of treading the grapes in granite lagares allowed for the expression of all the amazing characteristics of this vintage: opulent aromas, fantastic intensity, extraordinary concentration, balanced by lingering freshness. This exceptional complexity will provide long ageing potential.
