The 1989 Faustino Rioja Gran Reserva shows a translucent red-purple colour with a nose of
quality rich dark red fruit and lively flower notes of violet. The tannins are soft and firm; the wine has high acidity, it is well balanced and harmonious, well structured, with good complexity, sour plums, light spiciness, and medium length aftertaste.
