Description

This second of Gruaud Larose wine bears many of the characteristics of its legendary sibling.

The Sarget is a dense, thick, unctuously textured, inky/plum/garnet/purple colour which offers up scents of beef blood, steak tartare, cassis, herbs, tobacco, and underbrush. Still wonderfully concentrated, it is a huge, full-bodied, weighty, rich wine whose tannins are getting silkier.
