The Sorni Rosso is a Trentino regional DOC, specifically from vineyards around the communes of Lavis (of which Sorni is a constituent parish), Giovo and San Michele all'Adige, home to the much-respected winemaking school. Sorni Bianco wines are made from Muller-Thurgau, Nosiola, Sylvaner, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay. Sorni Rosso counterpart is based on a traditional and local mix of Teroldego, Schiava (Schiava Gentile, Schiava Grigia and Schiava Grossa are all covered) and Lagrein.
