Description

Acquired from Christies, these bottles were taken from a bin marked as 1837.

One bottle (which was badly ullaged 25% remaining) was opened in Oct 2018. The following observations were made. "There is no marking on the cork or bottle, however the bottle manufacture is consistent with the period". There were no notes made as the wine was ullaged and the contents had oxidised.

Condition

High top shoulder - believed 1837 from Christies description. There are no discernible features to corroborate this.
