1977 Barolo Stabilini
Barolos tend to be rich, deeply concentrated full bodied wines with pronounced tannins and acidity. The wines are almost always lightly colored varying from bright ruby to garnet in their youth to more brick and orange hues as they age. Barolos have the potential for a wide range of complex and exotic aromas with tar and roses being common notes. Other aromas include camphor, chocolate, dried fruit, damsons, eucalyptus, leather, licorice, mint, mulberries, plum, spice, strawberries, tobacco, white truffles as well as dried and fresh herbs. The tannins of the wine add texture and serve to balance Barolo's moderate to high alcohol levels.

Food pairing: Feathered game, red meat, wild mushrooms or truffles and mild cheeses.
Serve at: 16-18°C



1977 Amarone della Valpolicella, Cesari
A dark red wine with notes of vanilla and ethereal airs and notes of sweet fruit such as currants, blueberries and cherries. This is a wine with a velvety, raisin character combined with the structure and typical stylish bitterness to give it good balance. It has a long lasting and persistent flavour.

Food pairing: red meat and aged cheeses.
Serve at: 16-18° C. We recommend decanting this wine and leaving it for 2hrs before
drinking to get the best experience.
