Aromas of blackberry, mineral and lead pencil follow through to a full-bodied, chewy and rich palate. Still tannic and rich. Quite dry for a Vintage Port. Needs time to come around. Reviews: Big, bold and grapey best describe the nose on this slightly syrupy offering. Chocolate and blackberry come in spades on the palate, all prior to an assertive, persistent finish thats defined by a shot of raisin at the tail end.(Wine Enthusiast)
