Sourced from the winery's quintas at Vale d’Agodinho and Trovisca, this is dry, light and lifted. It's not the richest and deepest of the LBVs I've seen from this producer, but its focus and the length on the finish are superb. Very expressive as well, this shows brilliantly just now. It can also age and develop if you want to hold it.

The 2016 Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine has deep ruby colour. The Capela da Quinta do Vesuvio is made in years when truly exceptional wines are produced – the only prior release was in 2007.
