Description

The 2009 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Capitel Monte Olmi exhibits masculine appeal with syrupy tones of dried currant, creme de cassis, resin, tar, pipe tobacco, road pavement, black licorice and dried porcino mushroom. This is a massive wine no matter how you slice it with solid tannins, bright acidity, high alcohol (16%) and huge extraction.

The Tedeschi family has a winemaking history of more than two centuries, with the family business formally established by Nicolò Tedeschi in 1824. A highly regarded producer in the hills of Veneto, Tedeschi have an international reputation for the quality of their Amarone and Valpolicella wines.
