Description
From the outstanding 1961 vintage, this Barbaresco is fully mature with a light red core and an orange meniscus. The nose develops into aromas of red fruits, tobacco and oak. On the palate the wine starts slightly acidic but develops into a smooth medium finish. Good fruit which starts to fade after about an hour. Tasted 2010 VWP.
