From the good 1964 Italian vintage, This Barbaresco has a beautiful earthy red colour. There is a massive nose exploding out of the glass, with cherries, spices, vanilla cream, floral notes, and earth. There is a smooth velvet core, an endless finish, with lots of layers and a meaty quality. Outstanding! This wine is ready for drinking now
