The Valfieri vineyard is at high elevation on the top of one of Piedmont?s ubiquitous hills where the sun exposure is at its maximum. Nebbiolo ripens well there and this wine shows the typical rose petal and earthy notes of Barbaresco with soft tannins that will need a little airing.
