The 1987 Terre del Barolo shows superb clarity and definition, with lovely notes of dark raspberries, black cherries, earthiness, menthol, spices and toasted oak. This is a wine that is all about precision and granularity in its detail. The tannins which once were heavy have now integrated well. Long finish.
