Description

This Port wine from the outstanding 1997 vintage has a beautiful and intense ruby red colour with nuances of purplish red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense and persistent aromas of red berries fruit such as black cherry, cherry macerated in alcohol and blueberry as well as an intense and pleasing aroma of violet and hints of vanilla on the finish.

Very light colour, pink! Certainly not the colour of a typical 1997. Sweet red licorice on a fragrant nose. Sweet entry, red licorice again with masses of cherry juice and soft milk chocolate tannins. Very forward, mature and very tasty. Gentle and tasty aftertaste.
