".... A mature mahogany hue with tawny rim, the nose is fully mature with aromas of Chinese 5-spice, molasses, mint and cedar, lacking the clarity of a great ’61. The palate is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and fine, sturdy tannins, still earthy but dominated by decayed, mushroom fruit and sous-bois on the finish.
