Description

This wonderful property is among the best of the appellation, producing a firm, rich red wine comprising 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Le Gardera has fine tannins and soft fruit together with subtle oak and an excellent balance.

This super property is situated on the slopes below Chateau Tanesse, to the south of St Emilion, overlooking the River Dordogne. The actual chateau was donated by the Cordier family to become a children`s home, however the vineyards remain in their own right and the wine is made at Chateau Tanesse.
