Reviews
"Approaching full maturity, this beautifully sweet Chateau Margaux has a dense plum/purple color and a huge, sweet nose of black currants intermixed with licorice, toast, underbrush, and flowers. Medium to full-bodied with supple tannin and a fleshy, juicy, very succulent and multi-layered mid-palate, this expansive, velvety wine has entered its plateau of maturity, where it should remain (assuming good storage) for at least another 10-15 years. A very delicious, seductive, and opulent Chateau Margaux to drink over the next two decades. Anticipated maturity: Now-2015." Robert Parker Bordeaux 4th Ed 2003 .

"This has long been one of my favourite vintages of Chateau Margaux and this bottle is consistent with previous encounters although it seems more youthful on the nose. It unfurls beautifully to reveal wild strawberry, blueberry, cedar, hints of graphite and glycerine. The palate is medium-bodied with good weight and presence. There is great volume to this almost audacious Margaux with a velvety, silky smooth finish that shows immense persistency. Sublime. Drink now-2030." Neil Martin, Wine Journal, 2012
