Description

Chianti, situated in Tuscany in central Italy, is home to probably the best-known and most iconic of all Italian wines.
The Tenuta Tresanti is a Sangiovese based wine from one of the sub zones of Chianti, in the town of Montespertoli. This zone has the specific aim of creating wines for long term ageing. The typical characteristics exhibited are a a bright ruby colour which turns to garnet with time, a fruity nose with black cherry and violets, with a more pronounced character of finesse when the wine undergoes ageing. The palate is balanced, fruity, slightly tannic which is refined over time to a soft and velvet taste.
