Description

Rivesaltes wines from the hot Roussillon region in France, are perhaps the most underrated sweet wines in the world. This 1974 sweet wine displays a dark amber colour with a mature bouquet of sandalwood, dried rum raisins, smoky burnt caramel, bitter orange zest, dates and more. On the palate it is smooth and with a pleasant mouthfeel. Can match perfectly from aperitif to digestif and it is wonderful with caramel and fruit based desserts.
